To the nurses, techs, Dr. Daniels, and any other staff at Focus By-The-Sea... How the heck are you doing? I wanted to drop a line and let all of you know that I could not have been taken any better care of by a king's staff. Thank you for showing me that there are people left on this earth that really do care for others. I was not aware that there were people that could care for, and show such compassion for, someone who was in the shape that I was in. Thank you! I am doing OK so far. To the Focus Family of Caregivers,

I'll have to start with the first person I met on the Dual Unit. That was Marion and thank God for Marion. I was nervous, scared and completely unsure about what the next two weeks held in store for me. Marion was so calming and reassuring that everything would be fine. He became like a big brother, always there when I needed something and keeping me straight when I needed that as well.

There were so many great people at Focus that I'm sure that I won't do all of them justice with this letter. Cathy C., Linda, Alicia and Sharon are all great people and could make me feel better with just a smile or a cheerful good morning.

My time here at Focus has been quite helpful. Dr. Shivers has gone out of his way to help me however possible. I would say that 99 percent of your staff is extremely helpful, compassionate, friendly and responsive; they are a wonderful group.

Of the nursing staff I would particularly honor Tonya, Susan, Chris and Marco. Two of the therapists, Celeste and Tami, led great classes and were concerned, attentive and compassionate. Again, overall you have a wonderful staff. Thank you to Dr. Shivers and the staff for helping me thorough this difficult time in my life.
